Just took a look at the list.  Much inexplicability (Augie March no. 
89?).  The Atwood (no.96) could have been written by a stoned 
sophomore.  But I like Woolf's Orlando (no. 97), and the Rose Macaulay 
(no. 76).

Two Nabokov notes:  No. 43 is not the first line of Pale Fire. And No. 
6 is part of the opening sentence of Ada.
