Peter, if you’re a software engineer, then there’s still a high probability
that you can tie your shoes and find your way home.  From what I’ve seen of
hardware jocks, most of them leave any analytical capabilities that they
have in the office.

And don’t get me started on the horrors of tech supporting engineers.  I
must have done something rather horrible in my last lifetime.  People who
think that Dilbert is an exaggeration have no idea.
