this line from the link:
>Schmiedl, Zucker, and Tiling used powder rockets to send letters from
town to >town, and such 'rocket post' became sought after by
philatelists.

...sort of ties GR together with Lot 49, eh?

my signed copy of "From Asininity to Assassination" arrived today ($9
from Abebooks, sturdy trade paperback with an inscription reading:
"Thank you, Marion & Lucille, for being so nice to Dean when he
visited at your house. Pyro Atomic Bomb 18 July 1981"
copyright 1981 by Marion A. Feany

quien sabe, looks like it might be a good read...

I was gonna say, the title of "Dance the Eagle to Sleep" led me to
think maybe it would be about a rilly mellow band that was able to
calm the savage breast of militarism...but in the context of the
novel, the Eagle appears early on as the harbinger and physical
symptom of the Ghost Dancing vision appearing to the character "Corey"
-- the eagle squats on his chest like a full-body migraine; next the
spirit of the buffalo deepens his vision, which he develops into the
movement that goes astrey and leads so many to doom
...but, you can't copyright a title, so maybe another "Dance the Eagle
to Sleep" could appear with the to-me-preferable theme
