I've actually been there, a couple/three times.  That
IS sad.  I'm assuming places like University Books and
Amoeba and Rasputin Records are still around, plus all
those movie theaters (we only have two Landmark
theaters here, Chicago recently acquired two, New York
one, the Bay Area has something like fourteen ... I
wonder if that huge one ever followed up on all those
Alain Robbe-Grillet and/or Don Knotts films I
scribbled in their suggestion book) ...
