Protagonist

We do learn about the setting of the new novel from the blurb. However, it 
is so unfocused that it is hardly possible to guess who might be its 
protagonist(s). I do beleive that despite the sprawling nature of the 
forthcoming literary leviathan it will be focused enough (unlike the blurb) 
to have some main characters. My guess is that unlike M&D he/she/they won't 
be a historical personage. That sounds trite and ridiculously 
overgeneralising, but I guess it will be somebody (like Stencil, Oedipa, 
Slothrop) in search of something and discovering another great conspiracy 
during his/her/their quest. Isn't it what all Pynchon books are about? If 
you have any better guess, let us know.
