Book Description: a delicious moment

It will be fun to see if the diehards try to maintain
that Pynchon didn't write the Book Description in the
face of  Slate's report that he did.  I wouldn't be
surprised to hear jbor trying to claim that Pynchon
himself has hacked Amazon.com or that Penguin is
pulling a hoax or God knows what. Anything but be
forced to confront the man himself describing the
novel he has written. It could be fun watching
literary critics and theorists deal with this.
