Just as GR SS Captain Blicero's sadomasochistic escapades seemed at
times to be using the words of his favorite poet Rilke as working
script, was Hitler similarly being directed by three plays of HIS
favorite playwright Ibsen? This book, which I started reading
yesterday in the local Borders, seems to think it can demonstrate
the hypothesis.. Don't quite know what such a finding might imply but
it's fascinating reading.
Ibsen was also a particular favorite of James Joyce, not that that
means anything.
(the connection to Gravity's Rainbow wasn't made by the author, only me.
