ATD: the title

Yeah, I like Against the Day as a title as well...  and had it not
been for the previous book I think it would be fine.  But I think that
having that previous book named the same does detract from it...  I
think that if Pynchon wanted to make such a direct allusion to it he
would save it for the contents, maybe a quote at the beginning of one
of the sections or something if it did need to be so direct.
