Fw: More on the blurb brouhaha

The blurb was to such an extent pynchonian style that I didn't buy 
neither the hoax nor the conspiracy theory, and even less the "marketing 
strategy".

Even "appear" vs "disappear" -- in the sense of a flickering -- would 
have made sense to me, but I simply believe Quail's explanantion: an error.
