That's actually man made. It's some sort of mining operation, I read about
it recently. From what I remember of reading about the Tunguska incident,
there wasn't a crater left. Just a bunch of trees leveled, etc. I think the
reigning theory is that it was a chunk of comet that exploded a few miles
above the earth's surface.
At any rate, it's still a big hole.
