I'm now 305 pages into Underworld and still seriously considering
putting it aside, but I guess there's a lot of time left for him to
bring it back, so I guess I should stick with it.

Still, in the "big book" category, The Royal Family, Life a User's
Manual, Mason and Dixon, The Empire City, The Adventures of Augie
March, and, in the re-read category, Giles Goat-Boy and You Can't Go
Home Again are all staring at me from my bookshelf, so, we'll see.
