boy oh boy, I sure don't want to be lumped with Ward Churchill. But I don't think everything changed on 9-11. A terrible piece of manmade destruction similar in that respect to every other piece of manmade destruction since the beginning of history (including ones wreaked by this nation-state, before and since); and similar in destructive effect to natural destructive things since the beginning of time.
Something terrible happened, but it didn't change everything. The laws of physics are still in place. Whatever philosophico-religious systems one has in place should still console. Whatever ethical guidelines one has been working on and/or living by should still remain in effect. Shouldn't they?
That said, a lot of things did change. "some forever, not for better, some are gone, and some remain"
Thank goodness for WASTE and the p-list.
