GR Companion

Nice cover!

What do you all think of the Companion?  It's been years since I
looked at it, I'm hoping to hold off on another reading of GR until
the new edition comes out, will probably  take a closer look at it
then.  I seem to remember that it didn't seem to go incredibly in
depth, at least not to the extent that some of the essays that Otto
posted do.

Does anyone reccomend any specific books on GR that might illuminate
someone on the more in-depth connections and story-within-a-story that
seems to be going on?
