My comment below is demonstrably true, as is evidneced
by Robt. going on the attack no doubt the moment he
saw Pynchon juxtaposed with Post-Holocaust.  I thought
for a moment about simpy posting the bibliographic
entry and watching the same damn thing happen, but, as
there was no decription on the publisher's site, I
simply scanned for something that seemed to give the
gist of the Pynchon chapter, which I've only just
started in onmyself (will have to circle back for
Spiegelman, DeLillo and Abish, but I only have it for
so long).  

What's offensive is how Robt. continues to, in his
sniffy, not-so-pluasibly deniable way, much of what I
(and others) post, however left-, off- or
backhandedly.  Not to mention how yrself as often as
not rushes in in Igoresque fashion to snive yr
agreemnt at his ankles (how's THAT for offensive? 
It's too damn hot 'n' humid here for me, though you'd
be right at home, no doubt, my ex-NOLA roommate'll be
loving this).  

Seriously, though, one three-syllable word, at least
from me, and, well, it's inevitable.  You know this
...
