Pynchon's New Book?

Shoot! That puts it just a year too late for it to be about notorious
Chicago conman and serial killer H.H. Holmes, who built a real-life house of
horrors full of trap rooms in which he murdered up to 200 women who lodged
there whilst attending the World Fair. Holmes died in 1896.

A full-blown horror novel from Pynchon would be something, wouldn't it?
