When I taught myself the color of the visual spectrum, I said to myself as
if it was a word from an extraterrestrial language: vibgyor, long before I
was taught Roy G Biv. And I have to memory of the phrase that I was taught
in the Air Force re how to read resistors, as I had learned one that the Air
Force couldn't teach in the modern, co-ed military.
