Hi dear fellows,
did you remember that?
(on the Pomona College Pynchon Page, as a report by "B.M.W. Schrapnel"
of her third "sighting" of Thomas Pynchon)
URL: http://www.pynchon.pomona.edu/bio/adventures.html
[…] We drank and talked for another half hour, though, ate an order of
chips and salsa, and he added that his next novel will be, well,
"neo-gothic." Set in an American subtropical region that is over run by
retirees from the Midwest and New York, the book's themes are greed,
solipsism, and anti-environmentalism, with a dash of Armageddon.

rest. […]
Shall we infer that the New Novel should set the scene in Florida?
Maybe this page has been online for a long long time, the copyright
reads 1995-1997. Can you remember when you read it for the first time?
Anyway, it looks like a hoax! don't you think so?
