Hi All,
All the good SF writers are passing away, PKD, Asimov, Douglas Adams, and
now Lem.
But we still have the Strugatsky brothers, and Iain M. Banks, etc... :)
The best so far I've read from him is The Masters' Voice.
Though I'm not sure about the title as I've read it in Hungarian, but this
came up in the book as a name of a project, and can be roughly translate to
the Hungarian title (Voice of the Lord).
It is about communication with 'aliens' and how we manage with it, or rather
how we do not manage or whether we are being communicated to at all.
So it seems to be a similar theme to Solaris, but I think this book contains
the most mature interpretation of his philosophy.
Bye,
Gabor
