The band site is certainly nothing to be worried
about. That's what such sites are for, promotion.
I'm sure the kids'll get a kick out of people actually
listening to their soundfile ...
The real concern with the photo site is, of course,
not pedophilia, ceratinly not here (and, again, teh
archives are NOT open to the outer world, you can't
search 'em via Google et al.), but people being able
to recognize Pynchon fils and, perhaps, pester (or
worse, I suppose anyone with some cash has gotta wory
about kidnapping) him as a result. Only one small
profile shot, but ...
But this is why I figured his mother (not to mention
his father, recluse or otherwise) would be interested.
Maybe concerened. Maybe not. But that's their
dceision, so ...
But, again, I do have to wonder, why would anyone
object to pointing that picture out to the Pynchons?
Again, it's first and foremost a matter for THEIR
concern, not ours. It'll be out tehre for anyone to
find UNTIL they decide--or not--to have it removed ...
Would y'all have problems were it, say, baby pictures
up there? And, keep in mind, there's no contact info
for J. Pynchon to be found anywhere, so ...
I find the consternation here understandable in
origin, but incoherent in expression, so ...
