I just finished "The Green Child" by Herbert Read. Anyone else on the list
read it? I thought it was great -- wonderfully written prose and a strange,
interesting narrative. I've also been wanting to get around to "Europe
Central" this summer but haven't yet found the motivation. I'm also reading
"Swann's Way", the newer translation by Lydia Davis, but it's kinda hard
going...I picked up "The Green Child" about 100 pages into "Swann's Way" and
sort of forgot about it...I guess it's time to get back to it.
