the new book?

M&D hit the shelves on April 30, 1997.  I recall
reading in Time Magazine sometime in late 1996,
October or November, a small blurb with Henry Holt's
annoucement.  Given that memory, I've always figured a
6 month advanced warning if/when the new one will be
forthcoming.
