Trolling (was Re: ATD: cover seal)

*28 years ago, my second or third day on my first BBS or newsgroup or
Compuserve forum or whatever it was, I encountered the words: "don't feed
the trolls." There remains no better advice, nor any harder to practice
consistently.

Only one other word contains as much wisdom and potential peace of mind as
those four:

Filters.*

One might also keep in mind the relatively recent maxim: "Arguing on the
internet is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're
still retarded."
