Gravity's Rainbow public reading

Hey all,
This is my first post and I've never belonged to one
of these lists, so bear with me. I've browsed through
relevant archival stuff and read the past few notices,
but I need some direct advice.
I'm a student at North Carolina School of the Arts in
Winston-Salem and I'm attempting to orchestrate a
public reading of Gravity's Rainbow to coincide with
the release of Against the Day, maybe starting on
November 19th or so. I read the Rainbow for the first
time in August and am already itching to tear through
it again, and I just thought it may be a cool thing to
get some academics and Pynchonites here in town more
excited than they no doubt already are at the release
of AtD. I've read that UCLA's marathon lasted nearly
28 hours, and I've heard Princeton stages an annual
one lasting about that long as well. Have any of you
all staged one of these readings in the past? Or
attended one? Any tips or suggestions? Also, on the
offchance that anyone here on the list happens to live
in the area and wants to get involved, you can drop me
an e-mail.
Again, any advice and admonitions are awesome.
Thanks!

Matt Frink
