I just got M&D via inter- library loan. I tried reading various
sections of the book previously to get a taste and couldn't get an
appetite for it. Well I started from the beginning, partly wanting
to gear up for ATD, and that made all the difference. I guess it was
a matter of acclimating to the language as the story unfolds. What
a fun read; I'm laughing and feeling immersed in a world. As a rogue
Quaker I love and sense the rightness of his take on Friends culture.
What a world of difference from My last read - Epstein's 8th Wonder.
Every sentence is an engagement of the mind and senses.
Am enjoying the discussion of the seal. Is there a good high res
version of the image?
Also Has anyone gotten Zak Smiths GR illustrated in book form? What
say you? Is there an earlier thread on this?
