"The closest one is "Khyuying," but that's hardly an exact match. The seal
on the book looks deliberately hard to read, but there's definitely a lion beneath three roundish peaks....
I'm not even sure Khyuying is the closest. What about Petsug?
I agree that it's a snow lion with three peaks--great work, folks--but, unless I've missed something, I don't think there's been a match yet. Note that, despite the smudginess of the image, there's a halo around the middle peak. I figure it represents a cloud--and that there are also clouds to a side of each of the other peaks.
Also...I'm not sure if this has been made clear yet...but the cover emblem is raised as well as colored.

PS: And yeah, there's an adenoidal quality to the image."
The closest I've seen was a coin image:

there's another, copper colored coin even closer in design. It has clouds behind the mountains and the snowlion has the same pose. The color is even close to the icon on the cover, but the writing of AdT's "chop" looks wrong, kinda fradulent.
If I were to haul up all the lines, the first I'd haul up woud be Trystero. Especially in this novel's timezone.
