P-List traffic

Me, I don't mind the increased traffic when it's related to furthering the discussion of Pynchon, passing along relevant links, etc.  And I agree that it's likely the result of all of us getting our panties in a bind with excitement over the new book.  The heavy traffic becomes a nuisance when half of it is meta-argument.  If I wanted that shit, I'd talk to my wife.
