The Brothers Karamazov has some frothing anti-semitism in it, but it's still one of the greatest novels of all time. Huckleberry Finn's been banned by some schools for being racist. As big boys and girls, we should be able to filter out the attitudes of the writer's times, provided they aren't providing the entire foundation of his/her writing.
