This is  post number 50 on the p-list traffic problem.

When a topic is interesting (for whatever reason) it generates a lot  
of posts.

This one should be good for about 500 more posts over the next 30 days.

Unless someone can think up a more interesting thread to take its place.

Favorite movies of all time?

Favorite songs?

Favorite novels?

Favorite banned substance?

But seriously, isn't the futility of trying to control the amount or  
quality of discussion through more discussion totally self-evident?

So why am I sticking my nose in it?
