What is wrong with emboldened p-listers posting on this forum in their
multiplicities. I read the damn things. Its one of my daily pleasures,
although I post very rarely and its usually about Infinite Jest... I mean
if we are really desperate for new topics how about great metal bass
players. I could bore you for hours on that topic. Or the sublime beauty of
a Paul Chambers walking bass line. By the way is the tennis obsessed
footnoter, drug chronicler and AA expert going to publish anything soon?
To Dave Munroe and Rich regards for the mail.
And PS. Can you recommend some place other than a publishing house,
magazine, girlfriend, deluded ex-wife, esteemed but anal retentive
colleague, friends that are interested but cannot pronounce Pynchon
correctly, sex crazed 40 something divorcees, sex crazed but embittered
ex-lovers, people that think heavy metal is AC/DC, people that that the only
book they have read is The Da vinci Code, people who believe that global
warming is more important than raising their children in a decent way,
school teachers that have done nothing else, rampant P-Listers, oh delete
that last one, subscribers to I-Tunes, people who don't get that Elvis was a
great singer, and generally people who have never heard of Metal Church and
David Wayne (that is a bit obscure I would argue and will probably rule out
everyone that reads this but you never know),and that Baudrillard got it
right when he said "There is no where else to go to but the shops", (I think
that covers a reasonably broad spectrum),... that I could get some feedback
on my Pynchonesque pathetic musings of short stories and chapter fragments.
I know there are other writers on the P-List. Just trying to enter the fray.
I guess I mean some of you guys maybe...
Regards, David.
