Same here re GR. I really enjoyed my first GR read (back in 1986),
and I read it a second time (again on my own w/o any "help") in 1994.
Then twice (three if you count re-reading along with the group after
being about 200 pages ahead of the group) more in Group Reads here on
the P-list. I enjoyed it each time despite not "getting it" at first.
I've also read V twice, for similar reasons.
I wonder if AtD will really measure up to that standard. I sincerely hope so.
