Portuguese Translator of GR and M&D

A small article about the Portuguese translator of Pynchon Paulo Henriques 
Britto. He translated both GR and M&D. Just like the German translator he 
contacted Pynchon through the publisher and to his surprise TRP responded to 
all his letters and answered all his questions. It is written there that 
Britto who has some 80 translations behind his back has never come across 
such a helpful author. In order to render the archaic language ofr M&D he 
"disassembled the lexicon of Pynchon to recreate it as a falsely historical 
Portuguese".

Moral: wanna correspond with Pynchon, become his translator.
