Wikipedia's variable reliability is fast becoming an unreliable piece
of folk wisdom. Every recent horror story about Wikipedia's
unreliability quotes the same example of John Seigenthaler (and who'd
have heard of him if he hadn't raised a stink about it?).
Personally I rely on it more and more as a main source of general
knowledge, knowing that for controversial issues the discussion pages
are often more important than the info pages themselves. (quick break
here to remove DIE CASTRO DIE from Castro's bio page- some people are
just so-o-o impatient).
No, Wikipedia's a friend I'll rely on in a crunch as long as I keep a
check on their inner conflicts.
