(np) handbook of drawing "new war and peace" update

Out of the blue I got an email from Maxim Kantor - I had emailed him
back in September about whether or not it would be translated to
English.  He had seemed hopeful that it would be.  I guess he
remembered my email and sent me a note today that "10 anglo/american
big publishers" had rejected the book due to political reasons and
length.

Anyways, for some reason I'm really excited about this book, it sounds
like it has the potential to be pretty good even if when books are
called "The New XXX" they don't really live up to XXX, but can still
be quite good.  So I hope he can get it translated - wonder if the
Dalkey Archive would go for it?  It sounds like he's looking for
larger, more mainstream publishers though.
