Such a lame idea, but I've been hitting the Old Thompson so bear with me.

Anyone here read in silence?  I don't.  I couldn't imagine it.  In any
case, I plan to have Sympathy for the Devil rolling on the speakers
when I open the new book.  Can't wait.  I'm gonna wait now, no
half-assed attempts at a pre-distribution read, I'm one of those
preterite assholes who gotta wait fo the system to feed him his
lit'riture.  Mainly because it's gonna be out before thanksgiving and
my best thanksgiving memory is waiting for the turkey to cook while
re-reading The Recognitions last year.
