BOSTON GLOBE review of ATD

Although I wasn't aware that Mark Feeney of the _Globe_ is a Pynchon fan, anyone who's read his wonderfully imaginative feat of scholarship, _Nixon at the Movies_, won't be surprised that he's written such a smart and enthusiastic review of the new Pynchon. Between this piece and the 25-page running start agianst the day (after tomorrow) that I received from a secret donor, my optimism for the new book is total--it's going to be a marvel, even if it only lives up to a tenth of my expectations.
