[the Robot Vegetable]

	I've been calling around Eugene for a few days, two
indies knew it was coming, at the chains and U bookstore it
was just some book they had to look up.
	I got the single copy from one indie, and the 30%
off at the chain and oboyoboyoboy, i'm stuck at home
feverous so I can sit at the rainy day window and read
for day!

	First impression makes me want to go see if the
Chums of Chance books were written by Thomas Appleton [1].
A marvelous mix of geewhizbang patter, seasoned to era,
with an erudite mixture of tech with the preposterous.
(Perpetual motion indeed! More like an asymptotic 
catastrophe!)
	And, really, the first paragraph on page 11
is far powerful than the mildly amusing battom of
page 13.
