Against the Day, uh, Day, Chicago, 2006 ...

Thanks again to Tim S. (I'm half Polish, I have
friends with last names bereft of vowels save i and,
uh, y, and I STILL can never remember how to spell
that last name, Tim) for hosting AtD Ground Zero
festivities, and to Michel Ryckx for getting up in the
middle of the Belgian night to wish us a merry Against
the Day Day (again, Michel, if there's ever anything
we can do ...).  I ultimately had a solid five hours
of Greyhound time on the way to and fro to do some
reading, but, of course, slept it off so solidly I had
to be awakened by bus staff here to get me off the
ferschlugginer thing.  Am likely WAY behind the rest
of you now, so ...

Well, have some Pynchon to read, later, some records
to spin, will be back, givin' thanks for AtD ...
