Pynchon/Vollmann

Pynchon addresses many of Vollman's themes in novels
before Vollman writes any, so I doubt P learned much
from this V, especially since these are themes that
appear in P's work from the beginning.  Multiple
readings of P's novels and single readings of some of
Vollman's confirm this, imho.  Others may disagree,
surely.

I've enjoyed the Vollman books I read, by the way. I
especially liked The Ice Shirt.  You Vollman fans
sound a bit touchy. ;)
