I'd be down for an AtD group-(re) read, definitely. I'd much rather do GR, but I understand you guys recently went there, did that, and I missed the bus. That's cool--I guess I'll be reading it with Weinberger. But back to AtD: do you really think it's Vineland-plus? I don't think I've ever even cracked a copy of Vineland, but of the major works, I would definitely have to say that, so far, this is the best. But as some of you already know, from off-list correspondence, I'm something of a Pynchon agnostic, something of a crasher at this party. DeLillo is by far my favorite writer, so it makes sense that this new book would be my favorite. But come one, man--Vineland plus? From everything I've heard about Vineland (again, I haven't read it), that's harsh.

Just finished atd. not sure......but it's not as great as gr. it's not as
good as m&d. it's vl plus.

read all the reviews and most of the crap posted here.

when are we gonna read it?

I'll take the labor read.

i expect the re-reading of the book with yall will be better than any
review or any professional book on the book.

letz do it,
