Yes, this is great stuff, the whole chapter of Merle's story
is wonderful.

	Once upon a time on the p-list, this book was mentioned:

	_The Haunting of L._ by Howard Norman 

	It is set later than AtD, 1927, and involves spirit-photography.
I bought it at the time, but have not read it.  Anyne?
