particle wave thing is aking to two views of light. Power seems to be

of peoples lives. to be Against the like is also to be against the
discrete and with the fictional/semifiction (this reminds me of M&Ds
thesis that declarative factual histories are products of the power system
and that Subjunctive and "fictional" histories are of the people.
