Handling ATD

I bought two copies, one to have a nice looking copy,
gave it to my sister at Thanksgiving who was really
turned on by AtD's echos of "Bleak House" (her
literary idee fixe). My reading copy had coffee
sneezed into one of the pages---I'll be on the
lookout for kabballistic implications during my
second pass (I'm at pg. 288, all sorts of stuff
recirculates throughout the book)---and is marked up
with about 200 little multicolored tags, newly found

 orange

appeared yesterday, so there's now a seperate
color demarcation for music. Yellow is for humor,
purple for spritural or otherwise magical affairs, and so on. . . .

We use property stickers at work, the sticker today,
when peeled off the cover, took a bit of the covers ultra thin
layer of whateverthehell, leaving a rectangular tear, one corner
centered over the letters "C" & "H" in the author's name.
Where what was once textured like paper is found to
be very slick at the next layer.
