Tarot-card reading is pop psychology, particularly the Rider-Waite deck, which functions as a Rorsharch deck of loaded judeo-christian symbols readily accessible to Westerners. I did a tarot-card reading for a co-worker and floored her with my insights. I was considering trying to become a professional "psychic" but didn't because a) fucking around with people's emotional lives is way too scary, and b) my daughter told me she'd just die of embarrassment if I did.
