It's actually quite a thoughtful review by John Clute.
 I agree (so far) with his assessment  that it shares
the whole SF concept of the Multiverse with Michael
Moorcock (did that review ever show up online?), but
Clute's essays are usually pretty opaque (I'm not
really sure whether he liked it or not.  Plus it's
filled with lotsa unusual words that I am too lazy to
look up.  Have at it, p-listers!)  Minor spoilers in
the review, but no quotes, and few plot points.
