Handling ATD

My first copy of GR is in similar condition.  I never tried to be too
careful with it, and am somewhat sentimental about its present
condition:  it's got lots of me in it, sweat, time, locations,
memories.  I like it just as it is and will not lend it to anyone
else, but I will but them a new one.
