I don't value any of his other works as much as GR. My value call in
this regard is pretty typical. GR is just far better than the others.
V is my second favorite, but I have to admit when we read it together
on this list about six years ago, it felt immature in comparison to
GR. I still love it more than most other books, but it is not
Pynchon's best. Good as the others may (or may not) be, GR stands out
as the masterpiece so far.
