That "Stamp"

I will try to establish the chronology of this 'discovery'. Apologies in 
advance if I miss something essential, feel free to correct me.

John Carvill posted the link to the discussion of the seal

in which it was discussed as Tibetan. Then I had the idea that there should 
be something Tibetan (like a stamp) with a similar image. I posted a link to 
several Tibetan stamps

one of which was more or less similar to the one on AtD. Then it was you, 
Robin, who pointed out this similarity

and then found more similar stamps, namely the Telegraph stamps

David Morris sugested that the simbol is a dragon in front of a mountain

I was not sure whether it was a dragon or lion, but then I found all those 
sites about the Tibetan Snow Lion

Jasper mentioned the flag of Tibet

so it became obvious that it's a national Tibetan symbol. And then I thought 
that something similar to the cover seal might be found on coins as well, 
and was struck by the fact that some of those were almost identical, 
although still nothing really identical to the ATD  seal (exact image) has 
been uncovered.
