One way or t'other, that is, in fact, what happens in the book.
Hell, one of the dead from V. gets ressurected towards the
end of AtD. There's collectible fraudulent postage stamps and
weird sex with hidden occult meanings, cross references
to the other novels up the wazzoo. And/Or+
