Because, if they read fiction, they prefer girl books to boy books.
Because they've had their full of angry and full of self-doubt authors.
Because P doesn't do the madwomen in the attic as good as a lot of female 
authors.
Because they can't stand to be teased and frustrated.
Because Lot49 sucked!!
Because he's married.


It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of 
genius must be in want of a wife who can support him so that he may continue 
writing silly songs and long satires.
