Speaking of Saint-Loup's mistress I'm just beginning "Proust at the  
Majestic" which recounts among other things the famous though highly  
disappointing  meeting between Joyce and Proust. Expect some  
reference to it will grace ATD. Or maybe not . . .


Waiting on the table is "My Life in CIA."  Note that it's not "IN the  
CIA." Important distinction.
